Following the Unity Walk on Sunday, November 24, 2024 in Mankessim, as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) prepares for the December 7 polls, Hon. Stephen Asamoah Boateng (Asabee), the Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, has called on the people of the Mfantseman constituency to deliver an overwhelming victory for the party in the upcoming elections.
The Minister urged a significant increase in voter turnout as unity health walk marks a notable rise in massive engagement. He noted that, NPP and Hon. Ophelia Mensah will continue with the good works for the area.
The unity walk in Mankessim saw a raising participation rate as compared to other health walk over the years.
Speaking at a well-attended mini-rally in Mankessim, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Mfantseman Constituency, who doubles as the Minister of Environment, Science Technology and Innovation, Hon. Ophelia Mensah Hayford, expressed gratitude and explained the long-term benefits of supporting both NPP candidates fully, highlighting the continuity of development efforts as the rally forms part of a series of engagements by the party to consolidate its support base ahead of the December 7 polls.
She urged residents to be modest and avoid hurt speech.
Minister Ophelia noted in her speech that, the constituency’s loyalty to the New Patriotic Party is appreciated, as she called on the crowd not to skip voting due to overconfidence in the party’s dominance in the area.
MP noted the importance of unity within the constituency, stressing that the outcome of this election could shape the future of Ghana’s democracy and encouraged party agents and supporters to remain vigilant on election day to safeguard the integrity of the electoral process.
The mini-rally was attended by a cross-section of NPP faithful, including local leaders, youth groups, and community elders who pledged their commitment to ensuring a decisive victory for the party.
