The Amankrado of Kasoa, Nana Otubour Gariba I, has urged traditional leaders to desist from endorsing flagbearers and Parliamentary Candidates of political parties as these compromise their mediation role in the event of election disputes.
Nana Gariba I, the Chief Executive Officer for 21st Century Construction Ltd made the call during the Eid Filtr celebration at Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
He said traditional leaders should stand neutral to welcome every political leader who visits their constituency to bring peace before, during and after the 2024 elections.

Speaking with ITV news' Sobibor Ofori Amanfo Sobi after the prayers, Nana Otubour Gariba I lauded the role played by religious leaders in the maintenance of peace before, during, and after elections and called for continuous sermons for peace.
He called on political leaders and communicators to "watch their tongue whenever they get the opportunity to speak to the electorates to avoid political conflict in the country for we all have one Ghana."
